Phase 1 - Land acquisition and establish boundaries.
Phase 2 - Establish a tree preservation plan.
Phase 3 – Ongoing inventory of bird, mammal, and aquatic for the existing population within the wetlands area and boundaries thru partnerships.
Phase 4 – Increase ongoing observation activity, tree credit program, local school interactivity conservation education program, and maintenance program.
Phase 5 – Future programs for established nature preserve.
Wetlands act as a natural sponge, absorbing excess water during storms and reducing the risk of flooding in nearby communities.
